Primarily I use Twitter for social purposes, it does tend to slant a bit towards the following topics:
- My Job
- I'm the Director of Technology for Pixel Brothers
- We're an all Mac based Television Production Company
- I manage all the day to day IT operations for the company which includes about 40 Macs and a 50 TB Xsan System
- We edit exclusively using Final Cut Pro
- Tweetups
- I like meeting people in person so I create a lot of Tweetups
- I've gotten pretty darn good at managing and promoting Tweetups so I'm glad to help anyone who's looking to do the same thing in their area
- Subject Matter Expert
- Occasionally I act as a subject matter expert for the experiential marketing folks at WIRED Magazine
- I can boil down complicated tech into language everyone can understand
- I can help non tech savvy people learn to integrate tech into their life
- I'm a Student Pilot
- I'm learning to fly in a Piper Archer III with the Avidyne Glass Cockpit system
- I'm Flying out of Chicago Executive Airport
- My Flight Instructor is Lou Wipotnik (Flight Instructor of the Year in 1996)
- The Civil Air Patrol
- I am the Squadron Commander of the Palwaukee Composite Squadron
- I am very active in Emergency Services
